Deltia, I want to re-roll as either a DK or Temp that rushes into the middle of the fight laying down AoE, absorbing damage, and that can adjust easily to be a support structure for any group I’m with. I’d like to do that in Heavy Armor, but am I just missing out on too much not using Medium? Should I just plan to carry two sets (Med & Heavy) depending on the roll – PvE, dungeons, etc? Thanks!
If you want to rush in and only block, use heavy. Otherwise it’s all about resources and using medium/light has too much of an advantage not to use 5 pieces or more.
Appreciate it, Deltia. Love your site and what you do. Really like your “makeover” of your friends DPS on her Nightblade. Looking forward to more of those.
The first character I created is a Sorc in Heavy Armor using a 2 hander. If only I had known Heavy Armor would be so garbage for most content. Now I would rather just level my other characters rather than respec entirely and skill up LIght or Medium.
Yeah it’s a bit lack luster now.
As a heavy armor wearing tank, what do you think about using Magma Shell on one bar and Immovable Brute on the other? Is the latter really useful in PvE, or would I be better off with the Standard or Ferocious Leap? Thanks.
I prefer Ferocious leap with some champion points in the warrior tree.
Hey Deltia,
I was wondering if I should use Heavy Armor as a stamina dps build or medium? Any other tips about stamina dps build would be great. Thank you.
Heavy gives zero offensive bonus while medium gives you damage, crit and resources. Medium.
