Your character has a ‘cone’ of light around them, and as you move through a new location, this will “unfog” the area on the map. Therefore, when you first enter a brand-new region, you cannot see everything on the map fully.
As you make progress to Act 3 of the game, you will reach the Baldur’s Gate Lower City region with several locations to uncover. One of the locations that you can uncover is the Felogyr’s Fireworks within Baldur’s Gate Lower City. Everything about Felogyr’s Fireworks in Baldur’s Gate 3
Felogyr’s Fireworks is a triple-story workshop building with a basement that players will come to discover in Baldur’s Gate Lower City. One of the main reasons why players will come to Felogur’s Fireworks is to complete the Investigate the Suspicious Toys side quest. The entrance to Felogyr’s Fireworks is through the double doors and going inside will let players meet Avery Sonshal, a trader.
The second and third floors of the workshop are restricted areas. Accessing these sections without any cover will make all the employees hostile. However, you can get access to the second floor by speaking to Avery and providing him with the password that you got from Arfur Gregorio. Select the “Uncle Felogyr sent me” for the correct password and the second floor will become accessible for you.
Upon reaching the second floor, you will see some other characters, including Clerk Tamara, another trader. She will warn you about going any further past this floor which makes the third floor inaccessible. The only way to get past these employees here is to use invisibility without any fight. Going up to the third floor will let you discover the explosives that Banite cultists have been assembling.
Lastly, the basement is the area that you can access. You can access it from the street, just across Philgrave’s Mansion. However, it will require a DC 20 check to lockpick the door to go inside. Here, you will find some boxes of fireworks and a wooden chest that you can open with Avery’s Storage Key.

How to Investigate the Suspicious Toys in Felogyr’s Fireworks in Baldur’s Gate 3
Investigating the Suspicious Toys in Felogyr’s Fireworks is a side quest in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3. Players can start it in the basement of Arfur’s Mansion by reading the Blackmail Letter. Before you get to Felogyr’s Fireworks workshop, you will have to find the dangerous Toy Donator and interrogate him.
Search for Dangerous Toys
After searching the basement in Arfur’s Mansion to initiate the quest, go to the Requisitioned Barn at the edge of the town to look for toys. Speak and persuade Manip Nelstor or sneak your way inside the barn from the window on the roof. Once inside, look for the crate to find the toys. To be exact, the crates are located on the northeast end of the barn at X:83, Y:-108.
NOTE: Make sure to disarm the trap before you touch the toys.
Upon finding the toys, speak with Manip Nelstor and explain the dangerous toys to him. He will task you to find the person behind these donations.
Find and confront Arfur Gregorio
Now, it is time to head into Baldur’s Gate Lower City and go to Sharess’ Caress (tavern). Head into the showroom to find Arfur Gregorio and speak to him.
You need to press Arfur to get the information you need. If you wish to accept the bribe, ask for more gold and press him until he speaks about the Fireworks shop. Doing so will also reveal the password that will help you access the restricted section of the Felogyr’s Fireworks workshop.
Investigate Felogyr’s Fireworks
After getting all the information, it is finally time to head into the Felogyr’s Fireworks workshop. To proceed and update the quest, you have to reach the Third Floor. Here are the simple steps to get to the third floor of Felogyr’s Fireworks.
- Speak with Avery Sonshal and tell him the password, “Uncle Felogyr sent me”.
- It will give you access to the second floor of the workshop. Head up the stairs to the second floor.
- Clerk Tamara will stop and warn you about going further to the third floor.
- Use the Invisibility spell and walk up to the third floor without any detection.
Once you are on the third floor, you will find the explosives which will update the quest. Now, it is time to get rid of the Banite cultists. Kill all the Banites at the workshop and the quest will conclude.
What to Do in Felogyr’s Fireworks in BG3
There is nothing much to do in Felogyr’s Fireworks apart from completing the Investigate the Suspicious Toys side quest. You can explore the workshop and access its basement for more clues regarding the quest and loot a wooden chest. However, the end goal of the quest will always be to eliminate all Banite cultists so be prepared for a fight. One of the things that you can do before initiating the fight is to check the shops of Avery and Tamara for any items.
