Auto-Petters are basically animal sprite statues that play a melodious tone. These will help you automate your farm and reduce your work of petting each animal individually to raise its heart level. Once you place the statue in a barn, it will calm every animal present there. Here is everything you need to know about Auto-Petters in Fields of Mistria.
How To Unlock Auto-Petters in Fields of Mistria
You will unlock Auto-Petters in the later stages of the game, and it will require reaching some specific levels to unlock them. Here are the detailed steps:
- Once you reach level 60 of the mine, you will acquire the Dragon’s Breath spell after completing the Breaking the Fire Seal quest.
- Head to the cave next to Errol’s house.
- You will notice that the entrance to the cave is closed. Use the Dragon’s breath spell to unleash some flames at the cave.
- Once the cave is open, head inside.
- You will unlock the first animal sprite statue and its recipe from a chest there.
Crafting Auto-Petters in Fields of Mistria
After you acquire the Auto-Petters recipe from the cave, you can craft it with the help of specific ingredients. Once you reach renown rank 55, you can obtain the Stone Refinery, and with its help, you can make stones like refined and essence. Additionally, refined stones are a prerequisite to crafting an Auto-Petter.
Once you acquire the Currency of Care skill, you can get shiny beads by hand-feeding your animals. For one Auto-Petter, you will need:
- 10 refined stones
- 50 essence
- 3 shiny beads
After you craft the Auto-Petter, you can place it in large barns only. Moreover, you must regularly put essence stones in the Auto-Petter to power it. The larger the essence stone you use, the longer the Auto-Petter will work continuously.
