First, head to the Starter Island and go to the edge closest to Lost Isle. Look for the Fishhook Seller NPC near three glowing circles on the ground. Here’s what to do next:
- Buy a Fishhook: Purchase the Regular Fishhook for 5,000 in-game dollars, 25 Wood, and 50 Iron. Wood drops from regular Bandits, while Iron comes from Bandit Leaders (both found on Starter Island).
- Cast Your Line: Interact with one of the three glowing circles to start fishing.
Keep in mind: If you stay completely still for 20 minutes, the game may kick you out of the server. Move occasionally to avoid this.
How To Get the Golden Fishhook
Once you’ve started fishing, aim to upgrade to the Golden Fishhook for better rewards. Here’s what you need:
- 100,000 in-game dollars
- 50 Gold (earned by fishing)
- 100 Wood
- 250 Iron
- 1 Fish (caught by fishing)
- Fisherman Trait (purchased from the Trait Reroll NPC in Frost Town)
