This guide teaches you how to complete a puzzle in The Chasm and unlock the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact.
The Chasm is a massive abandoned mine located to the west of Liyue Harbor in Genshin Impact. In the patch 2.6 update, the Lost Valley domain was added to the western side of Fuao Vale in The Chasm. You can challenge this domain to farm artifacts from two sets: Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter.
This domain is sealed behind a rock, which you break by completing a simple puzzle. Additionally, you need a party member who can build constructs for this puzzle; Geo Traveler works just fine.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete the puzzle and unlock the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact.
Location of the Lost Valley Domain
The fastest way you can reach the puzzle location is by teleporting to the waystone located to the north of The Chasm. From there, make your way to the marked location in the picture above. Once at the location, you can find some hilichurls guarding a wooden chest.

Activate the Pressure Plate
Once the hilichurls are taken care of. Use the Elemental Skill of your Geo Traveler and place the meteor right on top of the pressure plate, which is below the treasure chest. Moreover, you can hold the Elemental Skill button to move your crosshair and place the construct accurately.
Gliding Sequence
When you activate the pressure plate, a marker appears on your screen, guiding you to the top of a tall rock close by. Once at the top, you need to glide down through the Anemo Rings, which are the wind hoops in the air.
Jump off the rock and press the jump button again to start gliding. Additionally, this is a fairly simple gliding sequence, as you just need to keep gliding down and forward. Once you complete the gliding challenge, a cutscene plays.

Activate the Lost Valley Domain
The rock sealing the entrance explodes, which now gives you access into the cave. Enter and keep walking forward till you can see the Domain Gate.
