Unleash the full potential of your Kagune in GHOUL://RE by evolving Eto to Eto v2. Discover the steps and strategies needed—start now!
In GHOUL://RE, having a strong Kagune can easily put you ahead of the pack, but not all Kagunes are created equal. If you’ve managed to roll Eto, you’re already working with one of the rarest and most powerful options in the game.
But to truly maximize its potential, you’ll want to evolve it into Eto v2—a version that comes loaded with devastating moves and a noticeable stat boost. Getting there isn’t instant, though. It requires grinding, mastery, and some well-timed devouring.
Get Eto v2 in GHOUL://RE
To evolve Eto into Eto v2 in GHOUL://RE, you need to follow a specific progression path. It’s not complicated, but you’ll have to grind a bit and complete each step properly. Here’s what to do.
Start by increasing your RC. Eto v2 requires a high RC threshold—somewhere between 200,000 and 350,000. The higher your RC, the better. You gain RC by knocking out enemies and then devouring them. Walk up to a downed enemy and press CTRL + B to consume them. To track how much RC you’ve collected, go to the Hospital and interact with Doctor Mimir G. Mado.
Next, master your Kagune. You must reach a B+ rating with it to unlock evolution eligibility. Complete missions, take down mobs and raid bosses, and participate in events. The more active and consistent you are in combat, the faster your rating improves.
After that, collect and consume the right fragments. You’ll need Rinkaku, Ukaku, Bikaku, and Koukau fragments. Only the raw versions count, as the refined ones won’t work. Defeat raid bosses and complete missions to farm these. Also, use Kagune Sacs to speed things up. You can earn them from the same raid bosses and missions.
Once all of that is done, there’s one final step: devour a Ghoul who has at least one-third of your current RC. It can be another player or a boss. Just make sure they meet the RC requirement before you go in for the kill. After completing all four steps, Eto will automatically evolve into Eto v2.
Eto v2 comes with a new moveset that significantly boosts your combat capability:
- Critical Move spins your Kagune like a blade to slash multiple times.
- Punctured Lungs impales the target and slams them down hard.
- Twirling Ambush works like a grinder, dealing repeated damage in a circular motion.
- Clawing Pounce knocks enemies to the ground and deals massive damage through repeated impaling strikes.
These new abilities turn Eto from powerful to dominant.
