A GTA 6 trailer is the talk of the town in the gaming industry, and for good reason. We have only seen one trailer up till now, and it’s been a year since it came out. While we know that Fall 2025 is the official release window for now, the lack of any kind of marketing or further information has left many wondering.
Will Rockstar Games showcase the next GTA 6 trailer in December 2024? We cannot be sure. But we know that not only players but also publishers will be keeping a keen eye on when the most-anticipated game of the past few years is coming out.
The Gaming Industry Awaits GTA 6 Release Date Confirmation
The reason why some gaming studios and publishers might be looking at Rockstar Games and waiting for the GTA 6 release date is quite simple. The hype and anticipation surrounding the next chapter of Grand Theft Auto is at an all-time high, and other games may not want to contest the same Fall 2025 release period. A recent Bloomberg report echoes a similar sentiment:
“Anticipation is so high that some competing game publishers are waiting as long as possible to commit to their release dates for the fall…The publishers want to see whether GTA 6 will make its deadline or slip into 2026…and they’re determined to keep their own games far, far away.”
The GTA 6 Trailer 1 dropped on December 5, 2023. The current view count is around 225 million (225,395,753 to be exact). Every Rockstar Games post and statement has been dissected thereafter by the community to figure out when the next trailer might be. This has only gone into overdrive with no information arriving as we passed the anniversary mark. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that Trailer 2 will break the internet, especially if it brings along the GTA 6 release date.
