In the following guide, we’ll explain all of the abilities of Hollowpoint in FragPunk and how you should play the Lancer to dominate matches.
What Are the Abilities of Hollowpoint in FragPunk?
Like all other Lancers in the game, Hollowpoint has three unique abilities that you can use to gain the upper hand. These include:
- Meteora: With this ability, Hollowpoint will equip a sniper rifle. You can use the varying zoom levels on the rifle’s scope to target enemies. All enemies within the gun’s sight will be marked when aiming through the scope. Hollowpoint can charge up the shot to deal maximum damage (150 points). One fully charged shot from the rifle is usually enough to slay any enemy.
- Paparazzi: Paparazzi is a kind of sonar trap that Hollowpoint can place anywhere on the battlefield. Upon deployment, the trap will create a radius and reveal the position of all enemies caught in this radius. An opponent team member has to interact with this trap to remove or destroy it.
- Smoke Screen: Hollowpoint releases a smoke screen that moves forward and reveals enemies that are hit by it. Hollowpoint can choose when and where to stop the smoke screen.
These are the three special abilities that Hollowpoint has in the game. Knowing how to utilize them properly can mean the difference between dominating your opponents and facing defeat.

How To Use Hollowpoint?
As the abilities reveal, Hollowpoint is a fairly balanced character to play as in FragPunk. Her Sniper Rifle is one of the best long-range weapons in the game, allowing her to stay behind cover and take down enemies without exposing herself to danger. However, she also has some of the best support abilities, which will reveal hidden enemies.
If you want to play as Hollowpoint in FragPunk, you must have a proper understanding of every map. This will enable you to determine where to position the sniper. This nest should offer safety, but it shouldn’t be too far away from the action. Hollowpoint can unleash offensive moves from this safe space while using her Smoke Screen and Paparazzi abilities to reveal where enemies are for other allied team members to go on the offensive.
Pro Tip: Always use a charged shot when using her Meterora attack. In most cases, the charged shot will one-hit kill enemies. However, when shard cards that increase HP are in effect, one shot may not be enough to outright kill an enemy. Regardless, you’ll take off a major chunk of their HP.
With the Paparazzi ability, you can lay down the traps strategically to prevent enemies from flanking you. However, for this to work, you must maintain constant communication with teammates.
