Description of Giant’s Rage in Baldur’s Gate 3

Giant’s Rage is a Giant subclass bonus action that a Barbarian learns instead of normal Rage. This ability allows the Barbarian to tap into a Giant’s power and use it to throw things with more power. You learn this bonus action upon reaching Level 3 in the Path of the Giants subclass. To activate it, you have to consume a Rage Charge and a bonus action.
Once enraged after using Giant’s Rage, you increase in size, and your rage bonus damage is doubled on throwing attacks. You gain resistance to physical damage and have an advantage on Strength and Saving Throws.
The bonus damage you initially gain from Giant’s Rage is +2, which then increases to +3 upon reaching Level 9 in the Giant subclass. Do remember that this is before making throwing attacks, which doubles the bonus damage. For this reason, this subclass shines when using a throwing build.
Giant’s Rage can only be used while in battle and lasts for 10 turns. The enraged state ends early if you fail to either damage someone or receive damage from someone on a turn. You also cannot cast or concentrate on any spells while being enraged.
Giant Barbarian exclusive actions, such as Elemental Cleaver and Mighty Impel, perfectly synergize with Giant’s Rage, as both of those actions require you to throw either a weapon or a person.
