Find all the missing Loyal Friends from the Veil Jumper Camp in Dragon Age: The Veilguard by following this guide closely.
One of the side quests you receive at the Veil Jumper Camp in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is Loyal Friends. Visit a quest marker in the southern region of the map and interact with a note. The quest will then ask you to find Taynore and Gus.
It will take you to a nearby location, which is an Unnamed Building. The path, however, is not without bumps. There will be several enemies and be ready to fight them as you make your way through Shadowy Grove.
Once you enter the building, there will be a massive Blight Boil. However, since it’s not gray but red, you can attack it to burst it open and unlock the path ahead of you.
How To Get to the Blighted Location
After you burst the boil open, don’t turn left. Instead, head right and there will be an open area at the end of the corridor. There are three Blight Sources in this room. One is on the ground on your left, the second is on your right on an elevated platform, and the last is above you.
Each of them can be subdued with a single shot. First, hit the one on your left, which is red. After you put it down, it will reveal a note. Pick it up and next to it, you will find an elevated platform. Climb on it and make your way to the second red source. Once you destroy it, interact with the body placed inside. Now, look at the third boil on the wall above where you were first standing.
Go back to the starting point at the middle of the corridor, and then take the left turn. The gray Blight would turn red. Destroy it and make your way forward. Please keep in mind, there will be Blight pools in the ground, which can have the Blighted status effect on you.

Blighted Tayrone and Gus the Nug
Follow the path and the last pool will spawn a group of darkspawn. One of them, unfortunately, will be Blighted Tayrone. Defeat him and his fellow darkspawns and then go on to find Gus. He is hiding among the bushes behind the big cliff in the middle. Gus is a nug. Nugs are cute rabbit-like animals that can be found in the underground locations of Thedas. Take Gus back home. If you are not in any conflict, just fast-travel back to the Veil Jumper Camp.
Press the interaction prompt near the camp and the quest will be concluded.
