The Rusted Armor Warrior stays on the fifth floor of Taedal’s Tower. The boss unlocks at Level 22, so you will need to be at 22 or above to have a fighting chance against the Rusted Armor Warrior.
How to Defeat Floor 5 Rusted Armor Warrior in Throne and Liberty
The Rusted Armor Warrior may seem like a bag of unpredictable tricks at first glance, but its weapon of choice gives the game away. The Warrior relies on melee attacks and naturally has to close the distance to fight you.
Your first task is to keep the aggression in check and predict the aggressive attacks. Thankfully, a lot of the Warrior’s aggression is telegraphed beforehand by the dialogues. The dialogue box over the boss’s head is your queue to brace for aggression. The boss will leap towards you after the dialogue. Dodge these attacks, as they will stun you.
When the boss lifts its sword behind its back, brace for a ranged fireball attack that is bait for a charge. It will force you to move with the balls, and then charge towards your new position, so do not stop. The boss also has a spinning swing you need to be wary of.
Mobility is your best friend in this fight. Move, move, and keep moving. Deal ranged damage to clinch the victory.
Best Abilities to Use for Rusted Armor Warrior
Nature’s Power is a passive crossbow skill we highly recommend putting to use against the boss. The skill increases your bonus damage upon using movement skills or mobility. This is highly useful against a boss that keeps you on your toes.
If carrying the Staff, we recommend equipping the Mana Amp skill. This provides a passive boost to your max health and mana, allowing you more breathing room against a punishing boss.
Best Weapons to Use for Rusted Armor Warrior
As we stated earlier, the boss is ruthless at close range and regularly looks to close the distance to begin its flurry of attacks. Hence, we recommend using ranged weapons like the Crossbow, Longbow, or Staff. These are sure to be your best bet against this tough boss.
