When you enter combat with enemies, you will notice some mechanics change, including the central icon shape. One of these changes is the jump/dodge function. During combat, you can’t jump; instead, pressing the jump button triggers a quick dodging move, allowing you to strafe rapidly. You can dodge by pressing:
