How to Get Amethyst in Enshrouded
You can get Amethyst in Enshrouded by mining it from deposits found in the Albaneve Summits region. Furthermore, to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 6.
If you have already found and reached the top of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, then you can easily use the fast travel point to return. Then, head to the east side of the spire and jump off to glide in that direction. You won’t have to go far, and you should be able to find an amethyst deposit on a nearby hillside.
Additionally, you will need a Pick Axe to mine amethyst in Enshrouded. Remember that the better quality pick axe you have, the faster you will be able to gather materials. You can also use Skill Points to unlock an ability called Mason (2 points). With this skill active, your pick axe will deal 30% more damage against stone and resource veins.
What is Amethyst, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Amethyst to create advanced armor sets with the Blacksmith, Alchemist, and Hunter. Additionally, there are also some furnishings that will require pieces of Amethyst to create.
First, is the Brazen Bull set, which is a heavy armor set you can craft with the Blacksmith. It has five pieces, including the head, chest, gloves, trousers, and boots. However, only the helmet, chest, and gloves will require Amethyst. To craft the Brazen Bull set you will need:
- Brazen Bull Helmet – 2 Obsidian, 4 Coal, 3 Warm Padding, 5 Steel Bars, 3 Amethyst
- Brazen Bull Chest – 10 Coal, 8 Warm Padding, 12 Steel Bars, 5 Obsidian, 10 Amethyst
- Brazen Bull Gloves – 4 Coal, 4 Warm Padding, 4 Charcoal, 2 Obsidian, 2 Amethyst
- Brazen Bull Trousers – 6 Coal, 6 Warm Padding, 8 Steel Bars
- Brazen Bull Boots – 4 Coal, 4 Warm Padding, 6 Steel Bars
Additionally, there is the Alpine Antler set, which is crafted with the Hunter. Only the chest piece will require Amethyst, and the full recipe includes:
- Amethyst x5
- Warm Padding x2
- Steel Bars x1
- Hardened Leather x8
Finally, the Hailcaster set is for magic build and is crafted with the Alchemist. Only the Hailcaster Hat and Hailcaster chest will require Amethyst, however. To craft the Hailcaster set you will need:
- Hailcaster Hat – 3 Amethyst, 1 Warm Padding, 3 Coal, 1 Steel Bars
- Hailcaster Chest – 3 Violet Fabric, 3 Amethyst, 5 Warm Padding, 4 Coal, 2 Bronze Bars
- Hailcaster Gloves – 2 Violet Fabric, 2 Yellow Fabric, 2 Warm Padding, 3 Coal, 1 Steel Bars
- Hailcaster Pants – 3 Violet Fabric, 1 Coal, 4 Warm Padding, 3 Steel Bars
- Hailcaster Boots – 4 Violet Fabric, 2 Warm Padding, 2 Amethyst, 1 Hardened Leather
