How to Get Amulet of Silvanus in BG3
To get the Amulet of Silvanus in Balder’s Gate 3 you need to reach the Emerald Grove in Act 1 and make your way into the Sacred Pool area. The Emerald Grove is an easy-to-reach location just north of where you land on the beach after the crash. The first time you reach the Grove you will have to help them against an attack by goblins. After this, they will raise the gate and allow you inside.
The area inside the Emerald Grove is called the Hollow, which is currently filled with Tiefling refugees. Next, make your way straight north and then around to the right/east to the stone stairs that lead down into the Sacred Pool. The entrance is guarded by Druids, but they should let you pass to see Kagha. Then, within the Sacred Pool, head straight south until you see a broken pillar off to the left.
Climb onto the pillar and walk down to the small beach below. There is a bear down here you can ignore for now. Just at the end of the pillar, there are several large grey rocks. Look for the one with moss on top. It should be marked as ‘Flat Rock’ if you mouse over it. Use a party member to move the rock off to the side.
Finally, you should see the Amulet of Silvanus which was underneath the rock. It is outlined in red, which technically means if you take it you are stealing. Crouch to make sure no one is watching and then pick the necklace up. The Amulet of Silvanus is now yours!
How to use Amulet of Silvanus in BG3?
The Lesser Restoration spell provided by the Amulet of Silvanus is a great support spell to have on hand for your party. It doesn’t heal or refill a person’s hit points, however, so this will be a spell that will be situational and likely not used as often. Still, in the early game of Baldur’s Gate 3, damage-over-time effects can be deadly when your party is low-level and typically low on HP. Moreover, even paralysis or blindness can be debilitating in combat, crippling an ally and making them unable to successfully attack.
Therefore, the Lesser Restoration spell is one that you will want to have access to. This is especially true if you and your companions are not one of the classes that have access to this spell. Classes that can choose Lesser Restoration include Bard, Cleric, and Druid at Level 3. Furthermore, at Level 5 the Paladin and Ranger classes can also select it.
Additionally, keep in mind that to hit a specific ally with the Lesser Restoration spell you need to be within a 1.5-meter radius of them. Consequently, this may mean that some of your ranged party members may be too far away. You will have to move across the battlefield in order to get close enough to cure their condition(s).
