Boots of Striding
Boots of Striding is a medium armour pair of boots from Minthara in Shattered Sanctum during Act 1 and Moonrise Towers in Act 2. The boots offer +1 to athletics and one bonus: Focused Stride. When you cast a spell that requires concentration, you gain a special effect called “Momentum” for one turn. While under the influence of Momentum, you become immune to being pushed or knocked prone. Maintaining concentration on any spell without interruption is essential to get the max out of this buff.
Classes that will benefit from it are Rogue, Ranger, Barbarian, Paladin, or Fighter classes. You can equip it to your character’s legs armour slot in the inventory, providing additional bonuses and buffs. It’s a medium armor that you can equip to your chest slot in inventory, and the character needs a Medium Armour Proficiency to be able to use it or will suffer penalties.

How to Get Boots of Striding in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can get Boots of Striding from Minthara in Act 1 if you either kill her or in Act 2 she’ll join your party. In Act 1 you can find her in Shattered Sanctum in Goblin Camp. In Act 2 She will be in MoonRise Towers.
Kill Minthara in Act 1
If you decide to kill Minthara to get the Boots of Striding, you must head to the west to the goblin camp, and she will be planning the attack on the Emerald Grove inside the Shattered Sanctum northeast chamber.
She is a paladin class, and a few goblins will accompany her, so the fight may be challenging depending on your difficulty and your team’s level. Once you defeat her, you can loot the Boots of Striding from her body. Be conscious of the wooden bridge, it can be easily destroyed, and anyone who will stands on it drops into the chasm. So if she by accident falls down you won’t be able to get her items.
Minthara Joins you in Act 2
In Act 2, if you decide to help Goblins and kill Tieflings, you will meet Minthara in Moonrise Towers, where she can join you after the fight with Kethrick. Then you can unequip the boots of striking from her.
