Cindersnap Gloves can grant you protection from ranged attacks, and you can buy them in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).

In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Cindersnap Gloves are a good item for any build that is looking for extra protection from ranged attacks. When equipped, these gloves you give you the ability to cast the Protection from Missiles spell once per Short Rest. This Level 2 Abjuration spell will cause incoming ranged attacks against you to have Disadvantage. Therefore, they will only do half the amount of damage.
Furthermore, the duration of the spell is for 10 turns. However, this is also a spell which requires Concentration. If your concentration is broken, then the effects of the spell will end early.

How to Get Cindersnap Gloves in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Cindersnap Gloves in Baldur’s Gate 3 you will need to find the refuge of the Last Light Inn within the Shadow-Cursed Lands of Act 2, and visit Quartermastr Talli to purchase them. The Last Light Inn can be found to the far northwest of the Ruined Battlefield where you first arrive.
If you come into the Shadow-Cursed Lands through Grymforge, then the Last Light Inn will be a bit south of your position. However, if you enter Act 2 through the Mountain Pass, then you will have to take a longer route moving west and north in order to find the Inn.
When you first approach, you’ll have to convince Jaheira, the leader of the Harpers, that you are not their enemy. Depending on your character’s moral compass you can do this through either Deception or Persuasion. Once you’ve reassured Jaheira, then you will have free access to the entire area.
However, you won’t have to go far to find Quartermaster Talli. You can find her just off to the left after you’ve finished speaking to Jaheira. She has a lot of great items for sale, and her stock includes the Cindersnap Gloves.
