In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Circlet of Blasting is a head piece and you can purchase during Act 1 – This short Guide explains everything you need to know about the Circlet of Blasting in BG3.
Circlet of Blasting
The Circlet of Blasting is a great early game head piece for your primary spellcaster party member. It provides a free cast of the Scorching Ray spell per Long Rest. This is a nice little boost since spellcaster are often low on spell slots in the early game. The Circlet of Blasting also pairs well with Cinder Shoes to cause burning status effect, to get “heat” which can be converted to heat convergence ramps up your flame damage.
This can be an especially powerful combination for a Dragonborn Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, if you have chosen a subrace like Brass and Draconic Ancestry: Red which also synergize well with Fire damage.

How to Get Circlet of Blasting in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can purchase the Circlet of Blasting from a vendor named Blurg who can be found in the Myconid Colony in the Underdark. The easiest way to get to the Underdark is to use the Well found in the Blighted Village, but at least one of your characters will need to pass a DC10 Intelligence check in order to be able to discover the well. Once down inside there will be lots of spider enemies, in addition to a Phase Spider Matriach you can choose to fight.
Head west over to find the Whispering Depth waypoint. Near there should be a open chasm. Cast Feather Fall or consume a Feather Fall potion BEFORE jumping in. This will land you safely in the Underdark. Head northwest and you should find the Myconid Colony. You’ll have to pass a DC 5 Charisma check in order to convince them that you’re a friendly sort, and they’ll allow you in. You’ll find Blurg just a little to the north of the Colony waypoint.
If this is your first time speaking to Blurg there will be some story dialogue and an interesting character to meet. The conversation may end automatically, but you can immediately click to speak to Blurg again and get the option to ask if he has anything interesting to trade.
