Harper Sacredstriker

In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Harper Sacredstiker is a quarterstaff that will unlock a unique spell for your Wizard, Sorcerer, or Druid. The Spiritual Weapon spell can be cast once per Long Rest at a Level 6. Therefore, this is a free cast that won’t use up one of your Level 6 spell slots.

Spiritual Weapon is a spell normally only available to Clerics (and sometimes Bards). When you cast it, you summon a floating, spectral weapon of your choice that attacks your enemies alongside you. Furthermore, the weapon is Ethereal, Immune to Psychic and Poison damage, and Resistant to all other Damage Types.

You can summon one of six different weapon types including greataxe, greatsword, halberd, maul, spear, and trident. The weapon behaves like any other summoned creature, which has its own turn in combat and unique types of attacks.

To get the Harper Sacredstriker in Baldur’s Gate 3, you must progress the game into Act 3 and reach the Lower City where you can locate Sorcerous Sundries in the near center of the map. On your first visit, there are a couple of different options for the main seller. If the tiefling Rolan died during Acts 1 or 2, then you will need to speak to Lorroakan’s Projection. However, if Rolan survived the previous Acts then he will have become an apprentice to Lorroakan, and will be working at the front desk.

Finally, if you’ve progressed the game, saved the Nightsong, and have sided against Lorroakan, then Rolan will no longer be selling items out front. In that case, you will need to pickpocket the Harper Sacredstriker off of him.
