The easiest way to enter the Underdark in BG3 is to use the Well in the Blighted Village to reach the Whispering Depths. At the back of these caves, you’ll have to fight the Phase Spider Matriarch before you can proceed. Then, use the Feather Fall spell/potion/scroll to safely jump into the glowing chasm. This should land you and your party safely in the Underdark.
At this point, you’ll be on the right/east side of the Underdark map. Head northwest and you should come across the Myconid Colony. The guards will stop you, but their leader should invite you in. These classes will have the most ready access to a variety of healing spells to learn as they level up. Normally, the ability to cure Poison will require a separate spell such as Lesser Restoration. Or the use of an Antidote or the Arrow of Salving, which will use up a character’s action.
