How to Get Honey in Enshrouded
You can harvest Honey right away in Enshrouded, because the beehives it comes from can be found within the first regional area of Springlands. Additionally, you’ll continue to find them throughout the other regions of the world as well. Honey is harvested from beehives found in trees. You’ll need a bow and you can use the most basic Wooden Arrows to shoot them down from a distance. Wooden arrows are very simple to craft from Twigs you can harvest all over.
At the beginning of the game there won’t be one single location where you can repeatedly farm beehives for honey. Simply keep an eye out as you explore the world, scanning the trees for the pale, whitish cone hanging from the branches. Typically, bee hives are most often found on the smaller, skinnier trees, rather than the larges ones which tower above you.
How to Farm Honey in Enshrouded
Later on in Enshrouded the game will provide you with a way to farm Honey by crafting beehives with the Farmer. Like the other survivors, the Farmer will have a series of quests for you which will unlock new crafting stations and recipes. After you’ve completed her previous quests, and upgraded your Flame Alter to Level 5 and have access to the Kindlewates region, she will give you the quest called ‘A Beehive Smoker’.
Next, you will be sent out to the Kindlewastes to find an implement which can then be used to craft Beehives. Here are all of the materials you will need to craft a Beehive:
- 4 Wood Logs
- 20 Straw
- 4 Lump of Clay
Once you’ve crafted your first beehive and placed it down inside your protected base you can then use it to craft either honey or wax. In order to craft Honey in Enshrouded you will need:
- 2 Water
- 1 Sugar
What is Honey, and what is it used for?
In the early stages of Enshrouded you can consume Honey by itself for a basic, 3 minute long stamina recharge. Additionally, later on in the game you can use honey to create other types of consumables in game. Early on, combining 1 Honey with 5 Corncob will produce Popcorn. This will boost your stamina regeneration for five minutes.
Additionally, a Fruit Bowl made of Honey, 2 Strawberries, 2 Purple Berries, and 1 Yucca Fruit will boost health and stamina for 45 minutes.
Finally, Honey can sometimes also be an ingrediant in health potions. One of the best in the game is the Revitalizing Health Potion, which will instantly restore 800 health. To craft the Revitalizing Health Potion you will need the following:
- 1 Honey
- 1 Aloe
- 1 Chamomile
- 1 Alchemical Base
