The Mantle of Mountain’s Fury in Diablo 4 is a unique armor item up for grabs! This guide will help obtain and mention the benefits it provides.
Season 7 of Diablo 4 introduced a variety of quests and items for players to find and unlock. One of them is a unique armor item, known as the Mantle of Mountain’s Fury. If you are playing as a Barbarian, you can equip this piece and take advantage of its associated affixes.
This guide will provide tips on getting the Mantle of Mountain’s Fury in Diablo 4, while also offering strategies on how to best use it for maximum gameplay benefit.
How To Find Mantle of Mountain’s Fury in Diablo 4
Since this is a unique item, you can only farm it from endgame bosses or get it from the Purveyor of Curiosities. However, your best bet at farming the unique piece would be to loot it from The Beast in the Ice. You can summon The Beast in the Ice by meeting the following requirements.
- You have to be in Torment 1 or higher.
- You should have at least 12 Distilled Fear in your inventory. These have to be sacrificed to call in the beast.
After Season 7 launched, you can now get Distilled Fear (or other Boss Summoning resources) from Tree of Whispers Caches and through the use of Tribute of Titans. The original method of gathering these resources, namely completing Nightmare Dungeons, is another valid method you can use. Keep in mind that playing in the highest World Tier improves your chance of getting the Mantle of Mountain’s Fury drop after defeating The Beast in the Ice.
To summon the beast, you have to head to the Glacial Fissure, which lies just southwest of Kyovashad. Make sure you meet all the requirements before going to this spot.

How To Use the Mantle of Mountain’s Fury in Diablo 4
The following are the affixes attached to the unique chest piece:
- +251-444 armor
- +2-4 defensive stance skill ranks
- +3-5 Hammer of the Ancients skill ranks
- After a Hammer of the Ancients Earthquake explosion, +100% damage for 5 seconds
- +16-22.5% chance that Earthquake will deal +200% damage
However, the greatest benefit of this unique gear is that while wearing it, Hammer of the Ancients will also slow enemies by 60-80%. Just based on these affixes, it makes sense to prioritize the chest piece if you are playing as an Earthquake Barbarian. Besides that, Double Swing and Whirlwind Barbarian builds can also benefit greatly while using the gear.
So, make sure that you get the unique chest piece before Diablo 4 Season 7 ends.
