Just like the majority of games available, MLB The Show 25 also provides the early access feature. Here’s how players can experience the game beforehand.
As mentioned, MLB The Show 25 also allows players to enjoy the game beforehand; however, it is not available for every fan out there. As usual, players will have to buy the “early access” so they can play the game before it releases for the rest of the world.
Here’s how players can play the game early like a true fan.
Buying Early Access For MLB The Show 25
March 18, 2025, is the day MLB The Show 25 comes out if players have bought the Standard Edition of the game. Whether they have pre-ordered the game or not, the Standard Edition, unfortunately, does not grant early access to MLB’s latest game. This can only be done through the Digital Deluxe Edition.
This edition is sold separately from the Standard Edition on your respective console’s Store. The biggest perk that the Digital Deluxe Edition gives to the buyers is four-day early access to the game, meaning they can enjoy the game on March 14, 2025. But why should you buy the expensive edition? Does it include anything more apart from enjoying the game early?
What Does MLB The Show 25 Deluxe Edition Include?
As we know, MLB The Show has always been console-exclusive. So, unfortunately, PC players can’t get their hands on any of the editions. Even among console players, the Deluxe Edition is “digital” only. Players who are still interested in buying it can head to their respective console stores and buy the Deluxe for $99.99, while the Standard is available for $69.99 instead.
According to the PlayStation App on mobile, the Standard Edition of the game will include the base game and five The Show Packs. The Digital Deluxe Edition, however, will include the following:

- Early Access starting March 14, 2025
- 20 The Show Packs
- 20th Anniversary Choice Pack
- One Diamond Choice Pack
- Five Gold Choice Packs
- One Equipment Pack
- One Double Daily Rewards
- One Cover Athlete Bat Skin
