Several creatures and monsters patrol the coast. These include the Large Stone Crabs, Hermit Lobsters, Chestaceans, and Megalobsters. These creatures drop salt when they die, so you have to kill them to obtain this ingredient. The drop rate is low, however, so you will be here for a while.
Alternative Way to Find Salt In Throne and Liberty
Farming salt may seem like a chore as the drop rate is very low and you may only find a single drop every few minutes. So, we suggest sending out Amitoi Expeditions alongside farming to increase your chances of obtaining salt.
To do this, head to the Quick Wheel, select the Amitoi House, and head to the Amitoi Expedition Map. Open the map and you will see the various regions where you can send an Expedition Team. Each region has its own level requirement and unique set of rewards and some of these regions have salt as a reward. Simply send an Expedition Team to regions that offer salt and wait for the clock to run out.
