Where to Get Salt in Throne And Liberty
If you have scoured the game’s numerous cities but can’t seem to find salt anywhere, do not worry. Salt in Throne and Liberty originates near the coast, just like it would in real life. So, to get it, you must first make your way to the shores in Laslan or Stoneguard.
Several creatures and monsters patrol the coast. These include the Large Stone Crabs, Hermit Lobsters, Chestaceans, and Megalobsters. These creatures drop salt when they die, so you have to kill them to obtain this ingredient. The drop rate is low, however, so you will be here for a while.
Alternative Way to Find Salt In Throne and Liberty
Farming salt may seem like a chore as the drop rate is very low and you may only find a single drop every few minutes. So, we suggest sending out Amitoi Expeditions alongside farming to increase your chances of obtaining salt.
To do this, head to the Quick Wheel, select the Amitoi House, and head to the Amitoi Expedition map. Open the map and you will see the various regions where you can send an Expedition Team. Each region has its own level requirement and unique set of rewards and some of these regions have salt as a reward. Simply send an Expedition Team to regions that offer salt and wait for the clock to run out.
How to use Salt In Throne And Liberty?
To use salt in Throne and Liberty cooking recipes, you need to find a Cooking Oven, and interact with it to pull up the Cooking UI. There is at least one Cooking Oven in each of the town locations in Throne and Liberty, including the starting town of Kasleton, Vienta Village, and Stonegard Castle. The specific location will be marked on the map with and oven icon.
Once you find a Cooking Oven and open up the Cooking UI you will see the full list of all recipes available. Depending on your cooking level, some recipes will be locked. However, it will tell you the level you need to reach to unlock them. To use the salt you’ve collected, simply click on each individual recipe on the left-hand side to discover what ingredients are necessary to create the dish.
