Scabby Pugilist Circlet deals additional damage when you’re surrounded, and you can get it during Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3.
Scabby Pugilist Circlet
In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Scabby Puglist Circlet can be used by any type of melee damage dealer to dish out a bit of extra damage when they are surrounded by foes. The Martial Bravery perk grants all weapon and unarmed attacks an additional 2 points of damage when you are surrounded by 2 or more enemies.
Although this isn’t an end-game piece of gear, it can be something to pick up as you enter Act 3 and are working your way to the good stuff. It can be particularly useful for unarmed Monk builds, as they are always on the front lines dealing out physical damage.

How to Get Scabby Pugilist Circlet in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Scabby Puglist Circlet in Baldur’s Gate 3 you’ll need to find the Tiefling child Mattis in Rivington during early Act 3. Mattis will only be available if you convince Rolan to stay and help the Emerald Grove in Act 1. Additionally, you’ll need to speak to Rolan again during Act 2 and save the Tieflings again.
You can find Mattis down by the Requisitioned Barn in the southeastern corner of the Rivington map. You can reach it by heading direction right from the Rivington waypoint.
Mattis won’t be standing in front of an official shop like he was previously. However, if you speak with him, he’ll have several items for trade, including the Scabby Puglist Circlet.
