Unlock the Rose’s Best Friend achievement in Split Fiction Chapter 2 by finding and interacting with an Easter egg from It Takes Two.

Rose’s Best Friend is an achievement/trophy that can be found in Chapter 2 (Neon Revenge) of Split Fiction. The trophy references Hazelight’s hit co-op game, It Takes Two. Chapter 2 sees the authors making their way through Mio’s old science fiction stories when they come across a large elephant plushie.
Here are the exact steps you can follow to find and complete the achievement.
Rose’s Best Friend Trophy Guide

At the start of the Play Me Techno subchapter of Neon Revenge, Mio and Zoe will enter a portal to The Legend of the Sandfish. Clear or skip the section and reach the Roofs checkpoint.
Here, Mio will use her gravity-manipulating weapon on the purple tile on the wall to cross over. Hit the ball toward Zoe for her to catch. She can use the sphere to smash the window on the right and grapple through. Mio should hit the respawning ball toward the glass on the right to clear a path for Zoe. Repeat the process for the glass ahead of you.
When Zoe reaches Mio, she should pick the ball up once again and hurl it at the glass blocking the way ahead. Mio can grapple onto the purple tile on the wall and then over to the one ahead before kicking down the ladder to her right. Once Zoe has climbed the ladder, she can open a door on the left which leads to the subway.
As the two of you emerge from the graffiti-covered passageway and see a tunnel with “Wake Up” written above it, head to the path on its right. Past a few dumpsters, you will reach the shuttered “Mastodon Pet Store.”
Above it, you can spot a giant stuffed version of Cutie the elephant. As Zoe approaches the elephant, a targeting reticule will appear over its limbs. Target and remove its ear and right leg to get the Rose’s Best Friend Achievement.
Cutie is a tuskless grey elephant plush that belongs to Rose, the daughter of the protagonists in It Takes Two. As her favorite toy, she is the queen of an elaborate cardboard fort. This is why Mio says, “Respect the queen” when you pull out one of her limbs. The act of pulling apart the stuffed elephant to get the achievement is a reference to an infamous and painful sequence in It Takes Two.
