Baldur's Gate 3 Till Death Do Us Part

Till Death Do Us Part

In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Till Death Do Us Part ring is a great ring for Clerics, or any other support class which is looking to boost their healing capabilities. This ring grants the wearer a free cast of the Beacon of Hope spell once per Long Rest. Beacon of Hope grants two major bonuses: Your allies will regain the maximum hit points possible when healed. Additionally, they also gain Advantage on Wisdom Saving Throws and Death Saving Throws.

This spell requires Concentration and lasts for 10 turns once cast. It’s a great way to give a boost to even low level healing spells, because instead of running the risk of getting only a small amount of healing you’ll get the maximum amount allowed by the dice rolls.

How to Get Till Death Do Us Part in Baldur’s Gate 3

You can get Till Death Do Us Part from Lady Jannath at Lady Jannath’s Estate in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3. Technically speaking, she will give it to you as a reward for completing two quests – Echo of a Lost Love and one you have to pick up all the way back in Act 1, Free the Artist. Both of these quests are connected to one another and if you want to complete them all the way through there are many steps. There is a much easier option, however, which I will present here.

In Act 1 Oskar Fevras is an artist who has been caught by the Zhentarim and is trapped in their hideout underneath Waukeen’s Rest. If you free him, he can be found again at Lady Jannath’s Estate in Act 3. If you end up in a fight with the Zhentarim and he dies during the battle, then he won’t be there. It is still possible to acquire the ring, however.

Pickpocket Lady Jannath

The most straight forward way of How to Get Till Death Do Us Part in Baldur’s Gate 3 is to simply pickpocket the ring from Lady Jannath. You can find her at the Estate. Come in through the main entrance and take the stairs up to your immediate right. When you reach the landing you’ll find a set of double doors to your right – enter them and go up another set of stairs. Go through the double doors to the left once you reach the top.

This is where things will likely split. If Oskar is dead, Lady Jannath will likely be in the hallway to the right. Have one of your party members start a dialogue with her, while another party member with the best Sleight of Hand skill and Dexterity sneaks back around to pickpocket. This can sometimes be difficult to do without her calling on the local guards and pulling you into a fight. But that fight should be more annoying that difficult.

Baldur's Gate 3 Pickpocket Lady Janneth for Till Death Do Us Part

If Oskar is alive, he and Lady Jannath will be in the room through the doors to the right. Again, the same recommendations for pickpocketing her apply. If the quest line is running then you may or may not be able to do this until Oskar is down. She specifically asks you to ‘be gentle’ when you do this, so be sure to go into the Passives tab at the very bottom of your screen and click on the Non-Lethal Attacks icon (looks like someone getting bonked on the head) so that you knock him out instead of kill him.

Successfully pickpocket the ring from Lady Jannath and Till Death Do Us Part is yours!
