How to Get Wood Planks in Enshrouded
To get Wood Planks in Enshrouded you will need to have access to the Revelwood area to collect the pieces needed to create the Carpenter’s Table Saw. Then, you will be able to craft Wood Planks with the Table Saw and Wood Logs.
To access the Revelwood region, you will first need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 3. At some point, the Carpenter should give you his ‘Table Saw for the Carpenter’ quest. This will send you to a location called Thornhold, which you will find southeast of the Revelwood Ancient Spire. It will take a combination of gliding and walking to get there. After you have collected the Circular Sawblades, return to the Carpenter.
The Table Saw will require the following resources to make:
As soon as you have a working Table Saw placed in your base you can use it to create Wood Planks. The only resource you will need for this are Wood Logs. Wood Logs are easy to collect and you should likely already have some stacks of them. If not, just take your axe tool and chop down some of the trees in the area around your base.
What are Wood Planks, and what are they used for?
In Enshrouded you can use Wood Planks for a wide variety of crafting purposes including creating new crafting stations and constructing new building and furniture pieces. For example, the Hand Spindle is a crafting station used by the Hunter to create pieces of Linen. You’ll need 3 Fossilized Bone and 4 Wood Planks to build one. Furthermore, the Masonry Tools for the Blacksmith will require 6 Charcoal, 6 Iron Bars, and 2 Wood Planks.
Additionally, you can also use Wood Planks as crafting materials for shelter construction and furniture pieces. You can create 100 Refined Wood Block out of 15 Wood Planks and 5 Wood Logs at the Workbench.
Moreover, there are a lot of individual furniture pieces you can craft for decoration and to boost the comfort level of your base. These include various styles of beds, cupboards, tables, shelves, chairs, trophies, and more!
