Destiny 2 has released their newest episode, Heresy, on February 4, 2025. This episode introduced a new activity, Nether, to the game. The healing in this activity is reduced to great lengths in order to give it a roguelike theme. Any type of health regeneration or healing ability is completely disabled in this activity, so players have to find alternative sources of health in the Dreadnaught region.
In this guide, we will help players learn how to heal in the Nether of Destiny 2.

As mentioned above, no health regeneration or healing abilities work during this activity. Players can obtain some specific healing material within the Dreadnaught region. Here’s the list of all available healing options in the Nether:
- Health Orbs: These orbs are obtained from pots or by killing enemies and can heal the player and his allies.
- Finishing Heal Boon: This boon provides decent healing when the player defeats an enemy using a finisher.
- Classic Healing Boon: This boon heals enough every time a guardian uses his Class ability.
- Paracasual Health Boon: This special health boon increases the health received from the pots.
- Crimson Hand Cannon: This cannon can provide instant health regeneration after eliminating enemies.
- Lumina Hand Cannon: This weapon fires healing shots that can heal the allies.
- Orb of Power and Recuperation: Players can equip a Recuperation mod for leg armor, which will grant healing each time they collect an Orb of Power.
- Rat King Catalyst: This catalyst provides a perk called infestation, which triggers healing when reloading after eliminating enemies.
- Suros Regime Catalyst: Just like Rat King, this catalyst can provide healing when eliminating enemies.
- Unrelenting Legendary Perk: A perk that provides health regeneration after eliminating multiple enemies in a short time.
- Titan’s Knockout: When the Knockout is active, each melee elimination heals completely.
- No Backup Plan Gauntlet: This gauntlet for titans heals the player for every shotgun kill.
- One-Eyed Mask Helmet: Another Titan exclusive gear that grants over-shield.
