To begin the infested potion in Minecraft, the first thing you will need is a brewing stand. If you do not have a stand, you can craft it by following this detailed guide. Once you have the stand, all you require is the correct ingredients. Here is a list of these essential items:
- Nether Wart
- Water Bottles
- Stones
You can collect Nether Wart from the Nether fortress, growing on soul sand. Additionally, you can collect it by hand or with any tool. Stone is a common block in Minecraft that you can obtain by placing cobblestone in a furnace with some fuel. You can easily mine cobblestone using a pickaxe.
Crafting the Potion of Infestation
Once you gather all the necessary ingredients, you can head to the brewing stand to craft the Potion of Infestation. Here are the detailed steps of the crafting process:
- Open the brewing stand to spot an interface with several slots.
- Next, activate the stand by placing the blazing powder in its first slot.
- Afterward, place the Nether block in the top slot and the water bottle in the bottom-left slot of the stand.
- You will notice several bubbles indicating the ongoing crafting process. Soon, the Nether block will be consumed in the crafting process, and you will receive the Awkward potion.
- Once you have an Awkward potion, place a stone in the top slot of the stand. Wait for the progress indicator to complete, and you will receive a Potion of Infestation.
