Grinding in GTA Online will ultimately bring you to a point where you own multiple different garages. The game does little to explain how to relocate your cars, though. Imagine you left your most important car back in Palito Bay while most of your business takes place in downtown Los Santos.
It is dreadful to deal with. There is an outdated way to relocate these cars. You must drive them one by one to the desired garage. So, it might take you a long time before you relocate all the cars you own. And don’t forget, you might also make mistakes while moving them.
You can avoid all the hassle with a few simple steps. Yes, that’s right! A few simple clicks can save a lot of your gameplay time. With all the time left on your hands, you can grind some more or enjoy with your friends all you want.

Shifting Vehicles To a Different Garage in GTA Online
You will find several ways to relocate your cars to different garages all across the GTA community. Not a lot of them seem to talk about the Interaction Menu technique. All you need to do is open your interaction menu. All platforms have different buttons to enable it.
- PC players can hold M. Players on Xbox One/ Xbox Series X|S can hold the View button. Those who play on PS4/PS5 can simply press and hold the Touchpad.
- Once the Interaction Menu is open, you have to go to the Manage Vehicles option. Select it and another page will pop up. Now, select Vehicle Organization. This will give you access to all the garages that you own, by their name. Whether it’s a standalone garage, an apartment, or a business facility you own.
- You can then click on the garage where your desired vehicle is stored. Now, click on where you want it relocated. You can either replace an existing vehicle’s spot by clicking on its name or click the “empty” slot to fill that empty space with your desired new vehicle.
- Note that you need to be out of all garages and shops to perform this action successfully.
Another easy way of relocating your vehicles is by “trading in” a garage while buying a new property to store your vehicles. This will automatically shift your owned vehicles to the new place without any further required actions.
