Everything you need to know about the Collection item, The Day the Black Moon Rose 3, in The First Berserker Khazan, and where to find it.
The First Berserker Khazan, despite its linear structure akin to the Nioh games, does feature plenty of hidden collectibles. However, unlike other traditional RPGs, collectibles in The First Berserker play a crucial role in dictating the game’s ending.
There are 15 Epic Rarity Collectibles that you need to collect as you progress through the game’s main story in order to achieve the true ending – The First Berserker. However, as is the case with any collectible item in an RPG, these Epic Collectibles are hidden quite well through the game’s main and side (bonus) missions. One such collectible is – The Day the Black Moon Rose 3, which was previously obtained in the Fall of the Empire mission.
However, after the last title update, Neople changed the collectible’s location, making it harder to find for some players. Here’s a comprehensive guide on The Day the Black Moon Rose 3 and where to find it in The First Berserker Khazan.
Where To Find The Day the Black Moon Rose 3 in The First Berserker Khazan?
The Day the Black Moon Rose 3 was previously obtained in the Fall of the Empire main story mission. It was placed close to the chaos-filled fountain that you reach eventually while following the main path through the mission. However, after the most recent title update, Neople changed the collectible’s location from Fall of the Empire to a much later mission in the game – Transcendental Sword. Unfortunately, the change wasn’t mentioned in the game’s patch notes. Naturally, this can end up confusing some players, even if they’re following a dedicated guide for the collectibles. As for the new location, the collectible is now obtained much later in the main story.
The Transcendental Sword is a Bonus Mission that unlocks after you defeat Hismar and make your way back to the Crevice. The Day the Black Moon Rose 3 can be found behind a hidden wall near the Path of the Fallen Blade Nexus. You will reach this Nexus naturally as you progress through the mission. However, finding the hidden wall can be a bit tricky. From the Nexus, heading to the next room (via the closed door) will lead you to a Soulbound Knight (Elite Enemy). After defeating the Soulbound Knight, stay within the area’s center and head to the right.
You will find a wall that’s marked with a small torch to its left. Hit the wall and dash into it to reveal the chamber behind it. Inside the wall, you will find The Day the Black Moon Rose 3 collectible.
How To Get All the Endings in The First Berserker Khazan?
There are a total of 3 endings in The First Berserker Khazan, each with their own specific requirements. Here’s a list of all the endings and their key requirements:
- Normal Ending: The Normal ending is the default, featuring only two phases of the final boss fight (Ozma). This ending can be obtained even without completing any Bonus Missions or collectibles.
- Chains Ending: To get the Chains ending, you need to complete all the Bonus Missions, especially the ones at the tail-end of the game (Charon’s Chains).
- The First Berserker Ending: The First Berserker is the true ending of the game. To get this ending, you need to complete all the Bonus Missions. Additionally, you also collect the key Epic Rarity collectibles (all 15 of them).
