Dragon Age: The Veilguard has various exciting and interesting quests for the players. However, some require a lot more effort for the players to complete than others. ‘The Warden Vault’ is one such quest. It is a region quest of Rivain Coast and takes place at the Grey Wardens Castle.

The quest requires you to open the Warden Vault. Although it may sound simple, it takes a lot of time to complete unless you get some help. You need to activate three levers that are found around the castle, which are marked on the map. All three levers are associated with a puzzle, which you need to solve to crack the seal and activate the three levers. The three levers can be activated in any order to unlock the door to the Warden Vault.

The quest officially starts when you acquire a note. Along with many things, the note also says, “The seals are the key. Find the matching ones, and the door should open. They’re hidden around the castle”, which may be a bit of help for the players. You need to get this note from a dead explorer by heading downstairs in the grand hall of the Warden Castle.

Here is the guide on how to activate all three levers in the Warden Castle and open the Warden Vault in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

How To Activate All Three Warden Vault’s Levers?

First Lever: Lever Puzzle

Climb the ladder and then head to the courtyard. Destroy the wagon that blocks your path in the courtyard to clear your path. Enter the hallway and clear out the crates and barrels to locate the three levers on the wall.

It should be pulled in the order: Left lever > Right lever > Center lever.

Then, head to the front gate. Climb the ladder and interact with the switch to enter the room. Pull the Warden Vault’s first lever.

Second Lever: Ghost Puzzle

Once the first lever is activated, return downstairs and head through a nearby door to the west. Along the hallway, you’ll find a stabbed skeleton surrounded by glowing butterflies. Interact with it to initiate the ghost puzzle. You need to track and follow the location of the ghosts, which appear as glowing green spots around the castle.

Once you find the final ghost location at the south end of the hallway, a hidden door will open. Yes, you guessed right, that’s the door for the Warden Vault’s second lever. Hence, you completed two-thirds of the quest.

Third Lever: Wisp Puzzle

Finally, head back to the location where you started the previous puzzle. Proceed south until you find another hallway, which leads to an open courtyard. There, you’ll spot an explodable pot near the statue. Blow up the pot by using Taash’s ability, which drops a ladder. You can also use the Rook’s knife if you didn’t have Taash at your party.

Climb the ladder to obtain the wisp. Once collected, head to the entrance and follow the hallway. The wisp will start blinking once it is near a skeleton. Bring the wisp to the skeleton, which opens the door to the Warden Vault’s third lever.
