Gaining XP quickly in Path of Exile 2 can be a tricky business. Here’s a guide to help you on your journey throughout Wraeclast.
An obvious way of quickly getting XP in Path of Exile 2 is bashing waves of enemies in all the unexplored areas. This is something that you would get to do a lot from the beginning to the endgame. However, this may not be a sustainable choice because you will eventually get bored.
To keep things interesting, you can try a combination of things to quickly scale the XP charts. If you keep repeating either of the XP farming tactics, it will start feeling like a chore. So, remember to have fun doing whatever you do, and take a breather when things get repetitive.
Ways To Level Up Faster in Path of Exile 2
There are a few paths that you can take to reach your goal. These can be summarized as the following:
- First and foremost, don’t forget to get done with those main story quests. They will offer plenty of XP progress and also let you reach the endgame faster for higher XP rewards. There are only three Acts that you need to care about as of now. Finish them before the developers drop the rest of the Acts with the full release of the game.
- Another way of leveling up faster in Path of Exile 2 is doing side quests as well. We suggest that you wrap them up as soon as they appear on the map for you. This way, you can gain plenty of XP and Support Gems, too.
- Optional Bosses in areas that you left behind can also be your best allies and help you level up faster. These won’t be easy in any way, so go in prepared. But once you are done, you will have plenty of XP in hand. And the best part is that the challenge keeps things fresh.
- Lastly, you would want to revisit previous areas. Don’t just rush in, though. First, compare your level with the area you want to revisit. If it’s lower than your level, go ahead! The enemies here will be easier to take down and still grant you high XP upon elimination.
When Will Your Search To Level Up Faster End in Path of Exile 2
Despite being in Early Access, Path of Exile 2 lets players level up to a max level of 100. This is a lot, considering that a full release is still pending. This is a level cap that you would want to hit as a completionist, or just for your personal satisfaction. It’s not an easy road, though.
Following all the main and side quests will only get you somewhere between Levels 50 and 60. This means that players would have to work for around half of the max level to reach the cap.
It will require a lot of grinding on your part if you wish to reach the max level in the game. We suggest that you don’t rush into things and take it easy. Enjoy each aspect of the game and aim at having fun with whatever class you have chosen. Don’t make PoE2 feel like your second job.
Grinding Gear Games will probably extend this level cap slightly when the full release swings by. So, don’t get too hung up chasing a goal that will eventually be shifted.
