What Is the Max Level in Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) has a max level cap that you may have to grind a lot for. But what should the target be for completionists?

Path of Exile 2 has been released in Early Access and has already introduced a max level cap. It hasn’t even been a full week since its initial release, and fans are wondering about the level cap in the game.

Those who have speed-ran the campaign may have only managed to reach somewhere between Level 50 and 60. This is because the game requires you to do a lot of grinding before reaching the max cap.

The game will stop leveling you up once you reach Level 100. This is when players will reach the max level in Path of Exile 2, and the game doesn’t let you level up past that point.

A Level Cap is generally included for players who are completionists and wish to master a certain mechanic or feature in a game. It is difficult to 100% complete an RPG, but those who got Early Access to PoE2 can now reach Level 100 to fulfill their purpose of playing. But be warned, it won’t be easy.

As we mentioned earlier, playing through the main campaign of Path of Exile 2 will only get you somewhere between Level 50 and 60. This is because the Early Access version of the game only has 3 Acts.

The developers will add 3 more Acts in the game upon full release, but so far, players have to stay content with the given 3. Once you have completed the campaign, you will have at least reached halfway in your max-level journey in the game. If you completed some quests on the side, reaching Level 60 by the endgame wouldn’t be an issue either.

However, it may take a lot of grinding for you to reach Level 70. Players need to close every side quest and explore nooks and corners to reach this point. And as you can tell, the rest of the 30 levels won’t be a joke. We suggest that you don’t “grind” in a typical manner.

Instead, enjoy all the mechanics in the game and try pushing your character past its limits. Try out new combat methods in the game that you had not tried before and keep trying out different gears. Eventually, you will reach the max level before you know it.

Chances are, Grinding Gear Games will add another max-level cap upon the game’s full release.
