The original Kingdom Come Deliverance, despite being a great game in its own right, never really got its due recognition in the mainstream. The game’s emphasis on realism resulted in too many players deeming the game “hardcore” and never giving it a shot.

Now, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is out and has streamlined certain features but hasn’t lost touch with its “hardcore” roots. These roots are most apparent in the cooking, sleeping, and repair mechanics of the game.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 makes you take good care of Henry, ensuring that he is well-fed, well-slept, and well-armored. The latter, especially, is important as you head out into battle. Through the course of various scuffles, the armor will take damage and need to be repaired at regular intervals. An indicator at the bottom of your screen will notify you when your armor is in critical condition and needs repair.

Repairing armor is fairly simple and easy if you know what to use or which NPC to talk to. If you’re looking to repair your armor and don’t know how to, our guide has you covered. In this guide, we shall go over how to repair armor in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

How To Repair Armor

Talk To the Blacksmith

There are two ways to repair armor in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. The first way is to get the Blacksmith NPC to repair your armor for you. Simply open up your map and find the Blacksmith in any of the major locations in the game. The NPC is marked by a red banner icon with the letter ‘B’ on the map.

Head over to the Blacksmith’s location and talk to the NPC to bring up his menu. Click on the “Repair” option with the hammer icon next to it, which will then open up your inventory. Select the armor you wish to repair and confirm your selection to repair the armor.

Use the Armor Repair Kits

Alternatively, you can purchase repair kits from the Blacksmiths, which come in handy when traveling and are far away from any Blacksmith. There are five kits you can choose from, but the one you need is the Armorer’s kit, which is used to repair armor, chainmail, and quilted pieces. Select the Armorer’s Kit from your inventory, bringing up the list of armor in your inventory. Select the armor you wish to repair and confirm your selection to repair the armor.
