Using photo mode in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is very simple. Photo Mode freezes time and allows you to move the camera around your character to take screenshots. Additionally, there are two ways to access photo mode; one is by pausing the game and clicking on the Photo Mode button in settings, and the other is by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard. By default, it is set to F1, but you can change it in Key Binding, located just above the Photo Mode button. The key bindings for photo mode are right near the bottom. 

All Photo Mode Options

While in photo mode, you are given simple yet plenty of options to play with. You can immediately see many buttons at the bottom right of the screen. Here is an explanation of what each buttons do:

  • E: Takes a screenshot of the screen and saves it in your Pictures folder.
  • X: Hides the hints on screen, which is great to take unobstructed screenshots.
  • Caps Lock: This button slows down the movement of the camera. This is great for minor movements for the perfect shots. Additionally, you can remap this button in Key Binding.
  • Left Shift: This button speeds up the camera movement. Useful if you need to move the camera around a lot. Furthermore, you can also remap this button in Key Binding.
  • Esc: This exits the Photo Mode, which resumes the game once more.
