The Enshrouded early access is currently limited to PC, but the full version will launch in 2025 for PC, Xbox, and PS5.
Survival action RPG Enshrouded was released in early access on January 24, 2024. Developed and published by Keen Games, it is currently playable only on Windows (PC). Players can roam the open world of Embervale freely, and the game heavily relies on crafting and survival mechanics. To be an excellent combatant in Enshrouded, players must duck, parry, and combine their fighting tactics with powerful spells. The game is not accessible on Xbox and PlayStation at the moment.
So the question arises, is Enshrouded a PC exclusive? Fortunately, no. Console owners will be happy to know that Keen Games will launch the title on Xbox and PS5 once the full version is ready.
Enshrouded Xbox and PlayStation Release
Enshrouded, developed by indie company Keen Games, is currently playable on Steam and GeForce. It’s been eight months since the early access launch, and the team recently shared on their official site that the game had surpassed three million players. The full launch of Enshrouded on PC, Playstation, and Xbox will take place in 2025. Since the game is in early access at the moment, it has a few issues and bugs that the developers are striving hard to resolve.
Enshrouded is a survival action RPG that allows 16 players to play at once. Since the game is only accessible on PC currently, cross-play is not an option. However, since the full launch will involve multiple gaming platforms, cross-play may become viable down the road.
