Jedi: Survivor – Koboh First Tar Pit
Perhaps the first tricky bit of the planet Koboh is the first tar pit Cal finds himself in the middle of. You can jump down onto a large platform in the middle of the sticky stuff. But then there appears to be no way forward. Try this:
- As Cal stands on the large piece of yellow metal, you’ll see some round objects out in the middle of the tar. They’re glowing a bit blue, which usually means you can manipulate them with the Force.
- These are roller mines, and when they lock onto a person or droid, once they get close they will quickly explode. You can use one to blast out the wall blocking the way in front of you.
- Use your Force Pull power to bring the mines up out of the tar. Then try to aim so that while they are still hanging in the air you can apply a quick use of Force Push to send them flying to the wall.
- The rock will explode, sending a shower or tar down into the pit. This will raise the level of the metal to a point where you can now jump forward.
- Don’t worry if you don’t hit the wall on the first try. It’s a bit of a tricky maneuver, and the roller mines will respawn as many times as it takes!
