Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has launched to mostly positive reviews from both fans and critics alike. The sequel has kept the overall complexities of its game systems unchanged from the first game. This can sometimes make it difficult for new players in the series to complete certain quests. One such quest is Into the Underworld. A main mission, Into the Underworld involves various stages where Henry needs to speak to characters, find specific items, and more. If you’re having trouble with this quest, here is a detailed guide to help you out.
What Are the Different Stages of Into the Underworld Quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The quest tasks Henry with finding Liechtenstein, to whom he must pass on critical information about Lord Von Bergow. It involves various stages and tasks that you must first complete to reach the end goal.

- Get inside the Antisemites meeting

Speak to Katherine
For this first stage, simply make your way to Kuttenberg and look for Katherine in a tavern located on the southeast side of the town. When you find her, speak to her about your findings. She will point Henry to a beggar whom she overheard talking about spying for a rich lord. This could be a reference to Liechtenstein. So, the next goal is for Henry to look for the beggar, named Goatskin. Katherine will also let you know that Goatskin hangs around the Hole in the Wall Tavern, which becomes your next objective.
Finding Goatskin
Head to the Hole in the Wall Tavern right outside the Kuttenberg walls. It is the only tavern out there, which makes it easy to locate. Once inside, you will need to talk to the tavern patrons to find information about Goatskin. All of them will point to a man named Cheynek. However, Cheynek will not hand you the information free of charge. You will either need to pay him 200 Groschen for the information or convince him through speech checks.
Failing these checks will result in you having to perform an additional step, which involves fist-fighting one of Cheynek’s companions.
Regardless of how you choose to get the information, Cheynek will not give you an exact location for Goatskin. Instead, he will only hint that the beggar likes to hang around bars and mug people at night. Usually, these muggings take place somewhere between Hradek Quarter and Horse Market. Also, he claims that the bathhouse workers in Kuttenberg may know more. So, that’s where you need to go next.
Catching Up With Goatskin
Make sure that it’s nighttime before you proceed to the next stage of the quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Go to the bathhouse and speak to the manager there, Madam Beata. She reveals that Goatskin usually targets Germans for his muggings since they have more coin on them. Learning this information will immediately unlock the objective to set a trap for Goatskin. Seek out a German named Udo Von at the Kuttenberg tavern. He is the perfect bait for the trap to lure Goatskin, as he is completely drunk.
Convince Udo Von to stop drinking for the night and go home through a skill check. Follow him outside, and soon Goatskin will reveal himself while trying to rob the drunk man. Talk to him and either convince him to tell you about Liechtenstein’s whereabouts or pay him 150 Groschen for the information.
Goatskin will say he isn’t sure what the noble’s name was for whom he was spying. He will then direct Henry to a man named Samuel, who hired the beggar for that job.

Meeting with Samuel
If you are meeting Samuel during the day, go to the Synagogue. At night, he is in King’s Solomon Tavern. However, talking to him in the daytime is much simpler. At the Synagogue location, look for Samuel. He is wearing a green tunic. Samuel will not help you initially but will finally be ready to provide the information if you help him first. He needs you to get inside an antisemites’ meeting, so that’s your next quest objective.
Get Inside the Antisemites Meeting
The final phase of this quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 involves Henry infiltrating the antisemites’ meeting. The meeting takes place after sundown, so wait or sleep if you need to. Then go to the eastern side of the town where a quest marker should appear. When you get close, there will be a cutscene showing Henry entering the meeting and getting locked inside by a man.
You will then need to fight two men at the same time and take them down. Just as you defeat them, Samuel will appear, and you’ll learn that the supposed antisemites’ meeting was all a ploy. Samuel believed that you meant to harm or kill Liechtenstein. During the conversation, you need to convince him otherwise. Only after this does Samuel decide to lead Henry to Liechtenstein, and they have a talk.
