Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Trailer had a few hidden details you might have missed. Here’s everything you should know.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s announce trailer generated lots of buzz online among fans of the original. It continues from the first game’s ending and showcases some returning characters.
We also got a look at some of the new mechanics that are being introduced in this series for the first time. Here are some details about the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 trailer you might have missed.
Returning Characters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
You will have noticed the protagonist from the previous game, Henry of Skalitz, continuing his story in this sequel. He will, of course, be joined by his trusty friend, Hans Capon. Alongside these two, you will notice Father Godwin, who is confirmed to be a playable character. It will be interesting to see how his story plays out alongside our protagonist.
Pebbles and Mutt will also be making a grand return in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. So, be sure to treat them well and play with your animal compatriots. Antagonistic figures from the first game, namely, Markvart von Aulitz, Sigismund of Luxembourg, and Istvan Toth, were also visible. Henry is sure to cross paths with them in his quest for Vengeance.
World Details and Activities
The trailer shows us a shot of Trosky Castle, which was the journey of the previous game. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the game will feature two different maps, one of which is the area near Trosky Castle. With this map — reportedly twice the size of the original — players will hopefully have twice as many activities to complete. We also see glimpses of the open world, and various attacks and sieges being conducted in this world.
The game will also have lots of activities for you to do. One of these shown in the trailer was blacksmithing. This is especially fitting, considering Henry’s background.
Combat Evolution in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The combat also seems to have evolved in the sequel. This trailer shows us the availability of more ranged weapons, including basic guns and crossbows. Guns seem to be extremely powerful and loud, but will likely be much more expensive to use, considering the game is based in the early 15th century.
These ranged weapons will likely be wrapping up lots of enemy encounters if used correctly, so you should watch out for those (especially if they’re being used against you).
