Marvel Rivals features a massive roster of 33 playable characters, and the roster will only get bigger in the upcoming weeks and months. Blade, a fan-favorite character, is set to join the roster soon. Based on leaks surrounding the vampire hunter, it seems he will be super fun and versatile to play.
The leak, coming from TheGabenZone, reveals the character’s kit, his abilities, ultimate, and team-ups. In this article, we shall go over all the Blade abilities leaked for Marvel Rivals.
All Blade Abilities
Blade is an anti-hero vampire hunter who is half-human and half-vampire. This unique nature of his character grants him abilities unlike any we’ve seen before. The character relies on man-made weapons to get the job done but is not above tapping into his vampire side if he needs to. Based on the leaks, developer NetEase seems to embrace the character’s rich history. Below, we shall go over all of Blade’s arsenal and abilities that he will bring to Marvel Rivals.
Blade’s Weapons
Much like the Punisher, Blade will bring two weapons onto the battlefield, as per the leaker. The first weapon is his iconic katana, which he carries on his back. The weapon is a melee weapon that deals massive damage and one the character has used throughout his history to slay vampires. He also brings in a hunting shotgun, another close-range weapon, which leads us to believe that he will play the role of Duelist when released.
Blade’s Abilities
The leaker has revealed that the vampire hunter will come packed with the following abilities:
- Passive: Bloodline Liberation
- Ability 1: Stomp and Slash
- Ability 2: Dark Night Attack
- Ability 3: Fang Deflect
- Ultimate: New Moon
Potential Team-Ups
The leaker also went on to reveal that Blade will have a team-up with Moon Knight and Cloak & Dagger. Team-ups are unique abilities used by characters who share a history in Marvel lore. Considering Blade’s shared history with Moon Knight and Cloak & Dagger and their fight against the dwellers of the dark and the supernatural, it comes as no surprise that they will share a team-up. The team-up ability is “Lunar Force.” In this ability, “Cloak & Dagger will inject light and dark energy into (Moon Knight or Blade) to create a Light & Dark Realm where (Moon Knight or Blade) can become invisible.”
