ABILITIESEFFECTS
Orb Projection (Primary attack)Launch a force-field projectile that can pierce enemies or heal allies. These will return to you after flying their maximum distance.
Agile Strike (Melee)Release a 3-hit combo that ends with a force push.
Veiled Step (Traversal)Double jump
Psionic VortexCast a force-field bubble in an area. It will deal either passive damage to enemies or passive healing to allies. You can also aim at enemies or allies to increase the effect of damage and healing.
Force PhysicsEither push away or pull in enemies using a tunnel ability.
Guardian ShieldPut a shield in front of your enemies that can absorb damage for a while until it dies out. It heals the ally it is applied to. It also doesn’t need a cooldown until it has completely died out.
Covert Advance (Passive)Turn invisible as soon as you are out of combat! Using any of your abilities will reveal you, though.
Fantasti-Force (Team-up Ability)Grants Psionic Might to the members of the Fantastic Four which gives them a shield, making up for lost HP.
Invisible Boundary (Ultimate)Manifest a massive force field that heals allies passively and also turns them invisible to enemies standing out of the field. The view of Namor’s octopi is also obstructed.

Invisible Woman’s Mobility

Invisible Woman has good mobility. While she doesn’t move that fast with her Covert Advance passive on, she seems to gain a little speed. Moreover, her Veiled Step lets her escape a few hectic situations easily. She can’t outrun somebody as quick as Captain America, but slowing down chasing enemies using Psionic Vortex can really help.

Invisible Woman’s Survivability

She has 275 HP, which is pretty good for a Strategist. However, she is at a disadvantage because she cannot heal herself actively like Jeff the Land Shark or Adam Warlock. This means that as a “squishy” character, she can easily be overpowered by enemies. If she is in her Ultimate, though, the enemies can’t do much to get rid of her because the Invisible Boundary grants a lot of HP pretty quickly.

Invisible Woman Playstyle and Combos

Try staying at the back of your line and heal everybody from a distance. Since her primary attack works for primary healing as well, use it to grant healing to allies. It also “pierces” characters, so you have a chance of healing multiple allies with one shot if you line it right.

Don’t forget to use the rest of your abilities to keep supporting your allies. She does not make a good DPS like many other Strategists on the roster, so try to stick to supporting the team instead of landing final hits.

The best chance of your team’s survival is when you place a Psionic Vortex to heal your allies and grant a Guardian Shield to those who are out of range. Also, use that Ultimate while holding a point.

Best Team Composition With Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals

The best team for Invisible Woman would be one where she will be protected so she, in turn, can protect other allies. This means the rest of the team will have to hold aggro to divert enemies’ attention toward them instead of her. The following composition may work in her favor:

ROLESCHARACTERS
VanguardDoctor Strange/Magneto, Venom/Captain America
DuelistMister Fantastic/Winter Soldier, Wolverine/Iron Fist
StrategistLuna Snow/Mantis

The Vanguards need to be a combination of diving and supporting. While supporting Vanguards like Magneto or Doctor Strange can block incoming damage using their shields, Venom or Captain America can hold aggro on the frontlines to distract enemies. Since the latter can wreak havoc on the battlefield, Invisible Woman will have plenty of time to help others.

Duelists like Mister Fantastic or Winter Soldier can stick with the said Strategist to protect her from incoming damage, while Wolverine or Iron Fist can help out the Vanguards by dealing with enemies instead.

Strategists like Luna Snow or Mantis will help out Susan Storm by healing her even from a distance whenever she is in dire need.

Invisible Woman Counters in Marvel Rivals

Any and all characters who are agile enough to penetrate enemy lines or deal decent damage from a range will be excellent counters to Invisible Woman. If you are playing as her, beware of the following:

  • Iron Man
  • Storm
  • Hawkeye
  • Black Widow
  • Iron Fist
  • Wolverine
  • Spider-Man
  • Hulk
  • Adam Warlock
  • Rocket Raccoon

Flying Duelists like Iron Man and Storm will prove to be a nuisance to Invisible Woman since they will be at an inconvenient distance. She won’t be able to use much of her abilities on them and may even miss most of her primary fire trying to aim. Ranged Duelists like Hawkeye and Black Widow can snipe her from a distance.

Iron Fist, Wolverine, and Hulk can penetrate enemy lines easily and take out Invisible Woman up close. Spider-Man will also do a good job of shutting her down by flanking easily with his swing ability.

Strategists like Adam Warlock and Rocket Raccoon can deal decent damage from a safer distance. If they want, they can also counter Invisible Woman on the battlefield.

Tips and Tricks To Play Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals

Since the character has only been out for around an hour, we don’t have a plethora of tips and tricks regarding her. However, we have enough to let you support your teammates and survive for longer in stressful matches. Just take note of the following tips:

  • Whenever you are stuck in a combat situation, trap enemies in a Psionic Vortex and escape. If they lose enough health for you to be able to take them out, do so. Otherwise, stay invisible and return to your teammates.
  • Always use your Force Physics when you are facing an enemy who is standing close to a ledge. The push will send them down the ledge and score an easy kill for you.
  • Use your Ultimate ability while holding a point to consistently heal your allies and turn them invisible to foes standing outside.
  • Try using the Guardian Shield only for diving characters. Moreover, the ones who are too fast for you to heal using your primary attack/healing.
