Crushed Crystal is a useful material in Monster Hunter Wilds, especially when working with the Melding Pot. It comes from specific monsters and certain locations, making it important to know where to look. If you want to gather this material efficiently, here’s what you need to know.

Monsters That Drop Crushed Crystal

Defeating certain Guardians gives you a chance to carve Crushed Crystal from their remains. These are the monsters that can provide it:

Fighting these creatures can be tough, so make sure you are well-prepared before taking them on. If possible, hunt them in a group to increase efficiency and survivability.

Aside from monster drops, you can find Crushed Crystal in specific locations. One known area to search is the Ruins of Wyveria. This location may have environmental loot spots where the material can be gathered. Keep an eye out for glowing crystal formations or other collectible nodes that might provide this resource.

Using Crushed Crystal in the Melding Pot

The Melding Pot allows hunters to exchange materials for new decorations. Crushed Crystal is a high-value item in this process. Here’s how it works:

  • It is worth 20 melding points, making it one of the most valuable materials for exchanges.
  • You can use it to craft Mystery Orb – Sword and Mystery Orb – Armor, which provide offensive and defensive bonuses.
  • The meter on the left of the Melding Pot menu tracks how many points are needed. A single Mystery Orb requires four points, meaning one Crushed Crystal can cover multiple orbs.
  • If you want to craft five Mystery Orbs, you’ll need 20 points. One Crushed Crystal alone can meet that requirement.

You can also exchange other materials at the Melding Pot, but few are as valuable as Crushed Crystal. If you have extra, this is one of the best ways to use it.
