Powercharm is a special item that you can acquire in Monster Hunter Wilds to boost your attack stats significantly. As such, having this item in your possession can make all the difference when going up against the more challenging beasts. But you can only attain the Powercharm after the end of the main story. In this guide, we’ll explore where you can get Powercharm in Monster Hunter Wilds and its uses.
How Can You Get Powercharm in Monster Hunter Wilds?
You need to meet the conditions mentioned below before you can start looking for Powercharm.
- Achieve a high enough Hunter Rank to unlock the Lurking Shadows quest as part of Chapter 4.
- Unlock the Wounded Hollow area by completing the aforementioned quest. This arena opens up the option to find different monsters in the game.
After unlocking the Wounded Hollow, you’ll meet a man named Cobb at the Suja, Peaks of Accord. He’ll give you the quest titled ‘Secure Wounded Hollow.’ As part of this mission, you’ll need to fight two Hirabami at the same time. Once you’ve killed the two monsters, return to Cobb to finish the quest and collect your reward: the Powercharm.
How To Use the Powercharm in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Simply getting the Powercharm is not enough. You’ll need to travel to your tent in any camp across the game. Once there, move the Powercharm to your pouch. As soon as you do this, your total strength will increase by 19 points. If you want to sustain this benefit of boosted strength, do not remove the Powercharm from your pouch. Doing so will inactivate its effect.
