How To Start the Vaermina Quest in Oblivion Remastered
To begin the Vaermina quest, travel to the Nibenay Basin. Next, arrive at the Vaermina Shrine, located near Lake Popad. Also, you can refer to the image attached to arrive at the exact location. Being a Daedric quest, you must fulfil certain requirements to access the Vaermina Shrine:
- You must reach Level 5 to access the quest.
- You must offer a Black Soul Gem to the Vaermina Shrine.
You can obtain Black Soul Gem in Oblivion Remastered by placing Grand Soul Gems in the Necromancy altars during the Shade of the Revenant. Once you fulfil both requirements, interact with the Vaermina Shrine to activate it and obtain the attached quest.

How To Complete the Vaermina Quest in Oblivion Remastered
The Vaermina Shrine will task you with retrieving an Orb of his follower from Arkved, a wizard. To locate him, head directly south of the Vaermina Shrine to arrive at his tower. After reaching the tower, continue through the main entrance to find a floor trap door.
Enter through it to enter Arkverd’s quarters. Once inside, you will find the Orb of Vaermina on a table to the left of the bed. Collect it and return to the shrine to complete the quest and collect the powerful Skull of Corruption Daedric Artifact.
