Console games getting ported to our beloved PCs is a source of joy for many of us. The more, the merrier! Unfortunately, there are quite a few awesome PlayStation titles that remain exclusive to the Sony console.

This leaves PC gamers in dismay, whose thirst has only increased after clashing and slashing with Kratos’ Blades of Chaos in the God of War games and being immersed in the beautifully melancholic ending of Arthur Morgan breathing his last while looking at the sunset in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Such gamers would dance with glee at the idea of having these six titles ported to PC:

6 PS PC Ports Gamers Crave for

1. Bloodborne

The inclusion of Bloodborne was obvious. Gamers have been wondering why the 2015 Golden PlayStation Game of the Year winner (at the Golden Joystick Awards) is yet to make its way onto PC. This game excels in almost every department—gameplay, story, graphics, sound—you name it! Being an action RPG at its core, this game takes you on a journey through the whimsical Yharnam.

Here, you take the role of Hunter, who is on a mission to clear Yharnam of all eerie and diabolical beasts. These beasts are enigmatic, dangerous, and at times downright creepy!

In spite of the countless crossed fingers in anticipation, this title is yet to arrive on PC.

The Last Guardian

The second entry on our list, The Last Guardian, is another beloved title. The face of this game is Trico, the giant half-bird and half-mammal who can be cute and scary at the same time.

You take on the role of a little boy who has gone on an adventure with the mighty Trico.

Although Trico’s moves are somewhat predictable, he cannot be directly controlled in the game. It is up to you to calm the massive beast down after a battle or remove obstacles from his path when he is afraid.

The Last Guardian garnered love from the community due to this unique bond, which in turn ensures distinctive gameplay. A PC port of this PS title is much anticipated.

Astro Bot

Let’s take a break from giant beasts and adventures for a bit with Astro Bot, the 3D platformer game that you could play for hours at a stretch. You play as the beloved robot Astro Bot as he gallantly prances from one galaxy to the next, armed with the jump, hover, punch, and spin-attack mechanics. It is filled with nostalgia, Easter eggs, and colorful levels.

However, seeing Astro Bot outside the PlayStation platform is quite unlikely. This lovable, screen-faced robot can very well turn out to be the mascot for PS—similar to what the Mario and Zelda characters are for Nintendo. Sony has not seen much success in this regard so far, with only Crash Bandicoot in 1996 almost making the cut (he makes cameo appearances in Astro Bot, by the way).

Gravity Rush 2

Next comes another refreshing title, Gravity Rush 2. Explaining Gravity Rush 2 with mere words can be taxing. The actions in the game range from fighting monsters to running sting operations as a photojournalist. It even has demonic rituals performed with schoolgirls. You take the role of the magical and multi-talented Kat in the city of Hekseville.

A floating district in the city sees gravitational disturbances. Kat and her friends go there to investigate, get sucked into a gravitational vortex, and are transported to a different world where Androids pose as their foes.

Yes, we understand, it is a lot to take in. However, it does not feel convoluted once you start playing. PC gamers have dreamt of diving headfirst into Gravity Rush 2 for quite some time now.

The Order: 1886

Time to hit the (alternate) history books with our fifth entry to the list, The Order: 1886. Here you take on the role of Sir Galahad, a gallant member of the Victorian-era incarnation of the Knights of the Round Table. This story-focused action-adventure fantasy game takes you on a ride through an alternate version of London, fighting half-breed monsters of the dark

The story of the game is solid and is aptly told through numerous cutscenes. Many historical figures and Easter eggs are present in The Order: 1886. Nikola Tesla is not just a mere cameo in the game; he actually helps Sir Galahad acquire a new weapon. The events involving the infamous Jack the Ripper had taken place two years earlier in the timeline, and this was also discussed in the game. Even the East India Company comes up in one of the missions.

As detailed as the world is in The Order: 1886, you cannot be involved in much interaction while you play the game. NPCs mind their own business, while well-crafted buildings just stand there, resulting in rather linear gameplay. Many of us have imagined what might happen if this game fell into the hands of the modding community. Well, an EV running around the streets of 1886 alternate London sounds wild!

Demon’s Souls

Let’s wrap up with our final entry, Demon’s Souls. This PlayStation 3 release has had a PS5 remake, and all the issues from the previous version were addressed in the new version. FromSoftware stayed true to the Souls series combat mechanics—detailed, methodical, and challenging.

The game is divided into five worlds, each presenting unique challenges. These range from a fire-belching dragon to weak monsters who can simply outnumber you in battle. You are required to make smart decisions both in and out of battle to survive in Demon’s Souls.

Coming out as the last man standing in Demon’s Souls feels rewarding since you always have the chance of being one-shot. PC gamers around the world crave this PlayStation game PC port.
