REPO is a hot new game that throws you into terrifying locations plagued by monsters. Your job in these locations is to head in, find valuable loot, extract the loot, and head out, all while surviving whatever monstrosity plagues the location. While the task may seem simple, it can often get stressful, especially as you go up to the higher levels and the challenge mounts. When this happens, you may just want to save the game and take a break, hoping to join back in later.

REPO does give you a way to save the game, but it is not quite as simple as pausing the game and clicking on the “Save and Exit” option. There is no manual way to save in REPO; instead, you’re required to progress through certain checkpoints in order to save. If you’re wondering how to save in REPO but are not sure about how it works, we have you covered. In this guide, we shall go over how to save your game in REPO.

As stated earlier, there is no manual way to save your game when playing REPO. This means you can’t be in the middle of an extraction, hop out, and then jump back in later, expecting to resume from that exact point. If you wish to save in REPO, you need to proceed through certain checkpoints, after which the game will auto-save and give you the opportunity to quit without any worry of losing progress.

To autosave in REPO, you need to complete a run and then exit before starting the next mission. This will auto-save your progress and put you back at the exact same point the next time you log back in to resume your playthrough. So, if you’re in the middle of a run and wish to save your game, you have no choice but to continue ahead and finish the mission before exiting.

While rushing to complete the level, be careful because the game will save once again if you die, and it will remember your death. If you’re unfortunate enough to get a “Game Over,” i.e., when everyone dies, the game will delete your save file. You will lose all progress and then have to start over.
