RuneScape Dragonwilds’ massive world is one rich in resources to collect, enemies to defeat, activities to complete, and most importantly, culture and secrets to discover. The Dog Days quest in the game is one such quest that dives deep into the history and secrets of the Garou race of Ashenfall.
The Dog Days quest sees you assisting Vannaka in his research of the Garou. Vanakka has been studying this ancient race for a while and now needs help finding items tied to one of the ancient race’s rituals. To complete his request, you have to scour through Garou camps, which is easier said than done. The quest is surprisingly difficult, as the Garou are no joke and will not simply let you stroll through their camps.

You begin the Dog Days quest in RuneScape Dragonwilds by heading over to the eastern end of Stormtouched Highlands. Here, you will find a campfire by the cliff with Vanakka resting beside it. Talk to Vanakka, and he will inform you of a Garou ritual he wishes to study. He wants you to retrieve the items connected to the ritual and directs you to search Garou camps in the Highlands.
Head over to the southwestern end of the Storm Highlands to find a large bone wyrm. Defeat the Garou in the camp, using the bone structures to maneuver around them. You’ll find a Ritual Book beside a chest under the bone wyrm. Take note that lightning strikes the area repeatedly, and it is important to constantly keep moving to stay safe.
Once you have the Ritual Book, head to the northwestern tip of the Stormtouched Highlands. Enter the ruins, and you will find the Garou King resting beside a rock in a pink field. The king has a shield, but you can stun him with a full combo and heavy strikes. As soon as the king recovers, he will swing upwards, so make sure to create distance. Exploit the boss’ slow movements to stun and beat him and earn the Tainted King’s Token. Return the items to Vanakka to complete the quest.
