You cannot move structures in Runescape Dragonwilds the traditional way, and instead have to delete and rebuild them elsewhere.
RuneScape Dragonwilds is a survival craft game, and in true survival craft fashion, it allows you to build tons of buildings and settlements. The continent of Ashenfall is full of possibilities, and you can build whatever you like. You are only limited by your imagination.
As you go about inhabiting Ashenfall and building in RuneScape Dragonwilds, sometimes the need will arise to restructure your settlement by moving or demolishing existing structures. While that may sound like a simple task, the game does very little to explain how to do so. Since buildings and settlements are a big part of the experience, it is important to know how to move or demolish existing structures.

How To Move Structures in Runescape Dragonwilds
The game does not give you any information or tutorial on how to relocate objects because it simply lacks a traditional ‘move’ feature at the time of this writing. The game is still in early access, and with the developers open to feedback, this may change later. For now, you cannot directly move structures in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
While you may not be able to ‘move’ structures in the traditional sense, you can demolish them and rebuild them elsewhere—moving them in a way. To do so, follow the steps below:
- First, you need to enter Build Mode by pressing the ‘B’ key. This will bring up a menu with a list of structures.
- On the left side of this menu, you will see a list of buttons. Click on the Repair button, marked by the icon with two wrenches. Alternatively, you can press the ‘T’ key. This will put you into Repair mode.
- Once you are in Repair mode, approach the structure that you wish to remove and press the middle mouse button. This will delete the structure and drop all source materials.
- Pick up the source materials, and you can then rebuild the structure elsewhere, allowing you to ‘move’ it in a way.
