The Cauldron is one of the key workbenches that players can unlock in Schedule 1. It is used to cook up some raw base for a higher-tier product. This is applicable if you are already dealing with customers who are very specific about what they want.
With how much multitasking you need just to process new products, you will eventually hire workers to do the heavy lifting for you. The problem is, they can bug out while working with workstations like the cauldron. Fortunately, there are multiple ways to fix this bug in the game.

What Is the Cauldron Bug in Schedule 1?
The Cauldron bug in Schedule 1 usually happens when you start assigning multiple workers to it. When a chemist drops items in it and starts cooking, they suddenly stop doing anything. The workers might stand still and not do anything, making your cauldron completely useless while the bug is active.
This is why you should avoid overpopulating your workstations with workers. If possible, have each worker assigned to one or two workstations only. Additionally, make sure they have enough space to move around. Don’t let them get stuck in an area that is blocked by another furniture or a workstation.

How To Fix the Cauldron Bug in Schedule 1
Fortunately, there are multiple ways you can fix the cauldron bug in Schedule 1 without having to start a new save.
Reassign the Bugged Employee
When the chemist who is supposed to be working on the cauldron suddenly stops doing anything, you can reassign them to another workstation. Once they leave the cauldron, reassign them back to it, and they should start working normally again. You can get a skateboard by heading to the Shred Shack shop.
Hit Bugged Worker With Skateboard
Ride a skateboard and bump into the chemist who is stuck in the cauldron bug. The worker should start moving again and start working on the cauldron.

Reload Save Game
Simply reloading the save file can reset all workers, including those who are stuck in the cauldron bug in Schedule 1. However, this will not work all the time. Make sure to save your progress first before reloading a save.
